This is really almost too much. But I include it here because it is just an obviously impressive set of tools. There are also many CNC machines (machines that Pete keeps talking about). Finally, this video comes to us from afar, from South Africa. And SolderSmoke remains committed to INTERNATIONAL solidarity. Thanks Ed for this wonderful video.
It would take me about 15 years to get my shack that tidy and organised!!!
ReplyDeleteThose of us who are "knack afflicted" will see that as a place where you could spend eternity just pottering and making stuff. Nicely narrated and filmed. - G4WIF
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. When I look at my bench (which is really pathetic compared to this) I hang my head in shame. Oh well, we do what we can. 73 Bill N2CQR
ReplyDeleteYes, Tony, it is magnificent. 73, Bill
ReplyDeleteMy Dad was a tool and die maker and for several years he had a basement workshop with a lathe, milling machine, etc. along with about a hundred Dutch Master cigar boxes neatly labeled with all the various accessories and metal stock, plus he had my Mom to sweep up all the metal shavings and keep it neat, so somewhat similar to one room in the video, but the total scope of what Ed has is really over the top. Obviously a multi-talented and energetic fellow. --Walter KA4KXX
