For the readers that don't know, Jim Williams was an analog guy that collected and restored old Tektronics 'scopes. He worked for a couple of semiconductor manufacturers, wrote dozens of application notes for Linear Technology, and had a work bench that is legendary for what is/was on it. After Jim's death, the desk was stretch-wrapped and sent to a museum.
