Free Book!

I decided to make my book "Us and Them -- An American Family Spends Ten Years with FOREIGNERS" available to a wider audience. The suits at Amazon Kindle allow me to make it available in e-book Kindle form FOR FREE for a five day period starting today. So this would be a good time to put a copy in your Kindle. I think it would be a good book for the beach.

Please spread the word -- let friends know of the free book offer.

Thanks for doing this. I decided to read the start of your book this morning. I finished it this evening, I found that I could not stop reading it.
I found its insights very interesting and in my view it presents a balanced, realistic, and let me say very honest and courageous view of the world. I can only hope that publishing it has done no harm to your career.

Thanks for making it available in the UK store. I shall save it for my forthcoming holiday.
Keep up the podcast and blog. Keeping the Brit sprit up in these dark times of self-inflicted crisis.

    2. Thanks Bill. I look forward to reading it while enjoying our holiday in Europe. I can't think of a more poignant start to the book for us Brits than We and They.

  4. I enjoyed reading Us and Them over the holiday weekend. At many points, I was reminded of this Mark Twain quote from Innocents Abroad:

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.
