Flip-up Workbench Build -- Possible Application for Our Test Gear
Interesting workbench build. While his tools were all for woodworking, this got me wondering about using this technique to store bigger pieces of electronic test gear that are not in use every day.
That's pretty cool, but I think DiResta's is slightly cooler: https://youtu.be/PvwTPJVHKXE?t=641 Drew Fisher also has a nice design: https://youtu.be/WXQ707IvutI . A small setup like this with a small Harbor Freight drill press (with step drills for sheet metal) on one side and a small HF bandsaw on the other would cover 90% of a Ham's fabrication needs.
Looks just like my workbench.....NOT. more tool envy. I hate him.
