It reminded me of the International Beacon Project: https://www.ncdxf.org/beacon/ I can receive the 20 meter CW signal on my homebrew rig here in the Dominican Republic. On 17 September before dawn I could hear the station in Madeira (CS3B) and the one at the UN in New York (4U1UN). This will be a useful way to monitor the band for openings to the South Pacific.
