Oh man. They got be at the breadboard, but there was so much more:
-- A mercury switch
-- A homebrew variometer
-- A reading lamp
-- A specially made (and stored!) tuning tool and a mechanical pencil
-- A CQ paper tape and tape reader!
-- A front panel clock
-- Space for QSL cards on the front panel
This is a really cool homebrew radio! Can someone find a good home for this amazing device? The video was posted only 1 month ago.
This is probably the best example of true ham radio homebrew gear Ive ever seen. Everything is scrounged from junk boxes or repurposed stuff. A masterpiece. Should be a "reference" piece for all homebrewers. I wish Bruce Vaughn or Bob Dennison were alive to see it!
