Beautiful pup, Bill. I love goldens and I think you guys also will! Billy is right about the chick magnet powers of the puppy, but the only thing that beats them is a baby!
ReplyDeleteThe audio sounds FB, except for the intro, which sounds like its coming out of a tin can. LOL

Good looking pup. If your family survives puppyhood, Cappuccio will become an important family member. 10 years ago I got out voted by family to get a dog. I didn't want the hassle. As a result, I am now the dog's person. Our daughter against our wishes, got a dog while in college this year. At some point in time, it will be ours as is the way of all college dogs. Sounds great.

Nice mix of topics, too.

Hi Bill, The sound quality is not far off perfect. Very slight booming and slight sibilance - but not the ear piercing it once was. Perhaps it's now just a matter of pulling back from the mic an inch or two, or putting it off to one side? But it is sure FB how it is. Appart from the intro, of course - Perhaps you could grab the intro from a previous episode and use that as a jingle (ie, paste it in, rather than playing it through speakers and recording it via the mic each episode.). I do have to disagree with you when you say you didn't "repair" your Sony, though. You fault find, you figured out what the problem was, and you came up with your own way to fix it. OK, it wasn't Q3 that was open circuit, it was several poor contacts on gpu1, and you didn't put your multimeter accross it to prove the fault, you used that giant schematic known as the internet. It's 'puters rather than analogue, but it's still "repaired", and you should feel "well chuffed" with yourself.Yay you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the golden retriever Bill. I also have a golden but she's a girl and a lot older (going on 12). Her name is also Italy-inspired, by the way - "Isabella".
ReplyDeleteFun podcast as usual. Audio still sounds fine to me, I've not heard the whistling "S" for several episodes now.
See you on PSK-31 soon? And maybe hear you on WSPR.
E´bello il Cappuccio. Anche bisogno guardare foto del gatto Tyson cosi'.
