Moon Launch from Virginia (video)
NASA launched a mission to the moon last night. The rocket went out of Wallops Island, Virginia and was visible from Washington D.C. I forgot about it, so we missed seeing it ourselves, but this fellow got a nice view from the balcony of his Washington apartment.

Saw the launch from Raleigh, NC. Nice view of 1st stage burnout and 2nd stage firing. Watched from local arena parking lot. Couple of PD patrols drove by. I was worried I would miss it, because I was explaining what I was doing out there at 23:00. Regards, Don NJ2E
ReplyDeleteWe saw it here in NJ too! Very cool!
