Homebrew Ferrari

Speaking of homebrew motors, a number of people sent me this YouTube video about another intrepid European with amazing workshop skills. Great stuff. (It reminded me of the title of one of Jean Shepherd's books: "Ferrari in the Bedroom.")

  1. Being a retired machinist myself, I too enjoy viewing these home-built project videos that you present on your blog. Probably my favorite was the Frenchman who made the do-it-yourself vacuum tubes. Have and enjoy your book on electronics and have been a fan of the podcast for years now. Hope to talk with you one day on HF. 73 from KE5VZT, Bill

  2. What realism! Even little puffs of 1/5 scale P312 smoke puking out of the exhaust pipes! :-P

Seriously, what a monumental project. Could you imagine constructing a 1/5 scale fully operational model of W1AW? :-)
