A word of caution regarding backlight power connections: Not all LCDs have on-board current limiting for the backlight LED(s). Some are wired directly to the anode and cathode of the LED(s). Connecting +5V as shown in this video may well destroy the backlight. Following the traces from the connector to the LED(s) is usually easy and will tell you if you do or do not need an external current limiting resistor.
