Direct Digital Synthesis

I just bought one of these.   I hope to hook it up to an Arduino and turn it into a VFO.  Or a signal generator.  Six bucks!

  4. Hello,

eBay is full of those modules, in fact the strange Engrish sounds like directly lifted from many of the Chinese auctions selling this. Is this one from Amazon actually any good? (distortion, noise, etc.)

  5. FB Bill. The DDS modules are a lot of fun, and really easy to get running with an Arduino.

After testing with an Arduino, I used the module as a basis for a carrier generator for an AM transmitter. I'm using an ATTiny84 to control it in this case.
