I think this is a really interesting and useful way to gather and present information on propagation conditions.   Check it out.   The "instructions" page gives some background info on the technique used.

  1. Interesting concept. With the variability of the ionosphere, its tough to get one number that is good for all locations.

    Sure would be nice to see some transparency in how the index is derived and the provenance of the data. Google searches on the terms mentioned on the instruction page don't add much to the description.
