I decided to make my book "Us and Them -- An American Family Spends Ten Years with FOREIGNERS" available to a wider audience. The suits at Amazon Kindle allow me to make it available in e-book Kindle form FOR FREE for a five day period starting today. So this would be a good time to put a copy in your Kindle. I think it would be a good book for the beach.
Please spread the word -- let friends know of the free book offer.

ReplyDeleteThanks for doing this. I decided to read the start of your book this morning. I finished it this evening, I found that I could not stop reading it.
I found its insights very interesting and in my view it presents a balanced, realistic, and let me say very honest and courageous view of the world. I can only hope that publishing it has done no harm to your career.

DeleteThanks Bill. I look forward to reading it while enjoying our holiday in Europe. I can't think of a more poignant start to the book for us Brits than We and They.

I read this book a few months ago. Was a great read and very insightful. Thank you for Writing this book and providing it free. Everyone should read this book.
ReplyDeleteThanks Walter!
DeleteI enjoyed reading Us and Them over the holiday weekend. At many points, I was reminded of this Mark Twain quote from Innocents Abroad:
ReplyDeleteTravel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.
