Well, I don't know about the debunking. Reports of a Nazi space program and moon-bases have been debunked, but the 1943-1944 accidental moonbounce from Germany seems to be real. I lived down the road from that, and worked at Bell Labs Holmdel in the same field that Carl Jansky built his first radio telescope, and also down the road from the Holmdel (Big Bang) Horn. In 1963 we built one of the first working cordeless phones (see Wikipedia) and tested it in that field outside the Holmdel building. That entire area is hallowed RF ground. Steve K2PBO
They don't call it "Telegraph Hill" for nothing! Wasn't that originally a 1.7 MHz AM system before going to FM? When we got our first cordless phone, I recall 1.7 MHz in one path, 49 MHz in the other.
