Did you get a chance to visit Jodrell Bank, in Cheshire UK, when you were working here in England? It's not as impressive as the GBT, but it's dripping with history.
This is located about 90 minutes driving from where I grew up and about 3 hours driving from where I live now. I've seen it a few times. It is very impresive.
Hi Bill, Here are some pictures I took at the Arecibo Radio Telescope back in 2004. I grew up in KP4-land and had several good ham friends from Arecibo with whom I crossed paths later at NASA and other posts.
