Great Video on Crystal Motional Parameter Measurement


Who out there can save us from further Dishal distress?  Who has one of these fantastic bits of old test gear and is willing to donate it to the cause of accurate filter building?

    You can build a PHSNA (Poor Ham's Scalar Network Analyzer), and in addition to sweeping and plotting filters, checking SWR, etc., you can also characterize crystals. Farhan has built one (http://www.hfsignals.org/index.php/Scalar_Network_Analyzer)-- what better endorsement do you need? ;-)
